I LIKE HUGS -- by Tigger

It's wonderous what a hug can do,
A hug can cheer you when you're blue.
A hug can say, I love you so
Or, I hate to see you go.
A hug is 'Welcome back again!'
And 'Great to see you!' or
'Where've you been?'
A hug can sooth a child's pain,
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug! There's just no doubt about it,
We scarely could survive without it.
A hug delights and warms and charms.
It must be why God gave us arms.
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, even for brothers,
And chances are, some favourite aunts
Love them more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, Puppies love them,
Heads of state are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier,
And make the dullest day seem merrier.
No need to fret about the store of 'em:
The more you give,
The more there are of 'em.
So stretch those arms without delay
And give someone a hug today.

Love, hugs and pillows

The Cuddlers Prayer

O cuddle, which art so heavenly,
Hallowed be thy warmth,
Let cuddles come,
Let cuddles be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily cuddle,
And forgive us if we do not cuddle,
As we forgive those who did not cuddle us.

And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us another cuddle.
For in the cuddle is the love,
the power and the glory,
forever and ever ...

Amen.

(Wow ... I think that says a lot more that I originally thought it would : )

As ever eternal,

There's something about a cuddle
That's sweeter than a kiss
Being pressed heart to heart
In times of blueness, it's bliss

Hug your friend, your dog, yourself
It can't be misconstrued
It means I like to be near you
I'm always in the mood

A newbie can't help but like Cuddleland
The people are so willing
With fairy floss, hot spiced apple, choc-chip cookies too
It's also nicely filling

Readily welcoming cuddles for strangers
Sometimes it's hard to perceive
Cold reality, from the sunshine here,
That's why I don't want to leave.

by Angela the Tree Nymph

Thankyou to all the lovely welcomes!
I'm playing in the green fields,
singing twirly-whirly songs
and making daisy chains
if anyone would like to join me!

The wonderful thing about cuddlers
Is cuddlers are wonderful things
They brush away all your troubles
By telling you lots of sweet things
They're cuddly wuddly snuggly huggly
Fun fun fun fun fun fun!
But the most wonderful thing about cuddler is...

We're not the only ones!

(gimmee a vague Disney referrence and I'll take it all they way every time!)

Fred Small has a song called "The Hug" about a psychologist who gets fired by his hospital for hugging his patients. It's on LOVE'S GONNA CARRY US album (I think) and it *might* be on his live album; I'm not sure. The chorus is:

I want a hug when we say hello
I want a hug when it's time to go
I want a hug 'cause I want you to know
I'm awfully fond of you
I want a hug; what a wonderful feeling
I want a hug, to feel you squeezing
I want a hug. It certainly seems like
The natural thing to do.

And [edited down version - sorry. -M] Bruce "Utah" Phillips has:

Oh touch me when I'm workin'
Touch me when I'm reading
When I'm not looking,
Surprise me with your hand
Then lightly, without thinking, touch me.

Sometime when you're turning,
Brush me with your fingertips
Know me by their gentleness,
Not always, but now and then,
And lightly, without thinking, touch me.

To laugh
is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep
is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another
is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings
is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd
is to risk loss.
To love
is to risk not being loved in return.
To live
is to risk dying.
To hope
is to risk despair.
To try at all
is to risk failure.
But risk we must.
Because the greatest hazard in life
is to risk nothing...

If this is not a place
        where tears are understood,
where do I go to cry?
If this is not a place
where my spirits can take wing,
where do I go to fly?
If this is not a place
where my questions can be asked
where do I go to seek?
If this is not a place
where you'll accept me as I am,
where can I go to be?
If this is not a place
where I can try to learn and grow
Where can I be just me?
If this is not a place
        where tears are understood
where can I go to cry?

Another mushy song just came on the radio, but here's my alt.cuddle version of the lyrics...hope you all like it!

Maybe it's the way that you touch me with the warmth of the sun
Maybe its the way you smile, I come all undone
Ooo Cuddleland, lost in love is what I feel
When I'm with you

I never cared for nobdy like I care for you
I never wanted to share the things I wanna share with you
Ooo alt.cuddle I get chills when I'm with you
Oh Cuddleland my world stands still when I'm with you

Ooo alt.cuddle I get chills when I'm with you
Oh Cuddleland my world stands still when I'm with you!
